How To Parallel
Stop
|

Use Ideal Terrain
For best results, try the parallel stop on a very smooth, flat
surface
such as a hard tennis court. It is nearly impossible to do on
rough terrain.
|
|

Avoid sliding
If you are tipping or
sliding out to the inside of your stop,
you are dipping your inner shoulder. Keep it upright.
|
|

Avoid tipping
If you are
tipping over to the outside of your stop, you may be applying
pressure
too abruptly & throwing yourself over. Smooth out your
pressure application,
keeping the majority of it on the inside edge of your outer
skate.
